Hi, my name is Gérard Navarro, and I am an experienced language tutor specialising in English and French. Originally from Aix-en-Provence, France, I spent 35 years living and working in the UK, where I immersed myself in the culture, way of life, and, of course, the language. In July 2024, I relocated to Aix-en-Provence, and I now offer my language tutoring services to clients in both France and the UK. My own family life reflects the blend of cultures and languages that I teach.
My wife is from Bath, UK—a city twinned with Aix-en-Provence. Our friends and family often joke that we are our own version of the "Entente Cordiale"!
Our 22- year-old daughter, born and raised in Brighton, UK, is fully bilingual. Now studying in Lyon, France, she realises how advantageous it is to master a second language—a lesson that I believe is crucial for everyone.
